I am very pleased with these two matching working roman shades and valances for my customer’s home. The valances were piped with the shade fabric for contrast. They are made from 3 separate pieces which I cut to size using my pizza stone! I use many different items from my kitchen to get the right sizing in sewing projects.
It is a shame the shades could not be patterned exactly the same – but I had only 1 length of fabric to work with, and could not get 2 repeats widthwise. You just have to use what you are given. Still very pretty I think.
Now back to the sewing room!
